Once long ago, Erebor Inc., a major player in the mining and metalworking industry, was owned by the family of Thorin Oakenshield. It was stolen from them by Smaug, working his way up through the company and eventually, though sneaky means and falsified documents, taking control. Thorin and his heirs were removed from the company, and many workers fired through massive upheaval and turnover. They dream of getting their company back, and perhaps an unlikely hero can help.
